As temperatures soar all across the country,
scores of Americans are taking to the water. How many have wondered what lurks
there, waiting for them?
Following the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Hurricanes Rita and Katrina, bull sharks, the only sharks naturally adapted to survive and thrive in fresh water, move inland to rivers where a higher oxygen content supports more aquatic life. Where people live and play oblivious to the danger, until the attacks begin. It’s the ‘Summer of the Shark’ and the country is stunned when people start dying. Our hero and heroine are drafted by a crooked politician to put an end to the terror. Will they survive with their lives, their careers and their hearts intact?
